Spiritual Bouquet Day 2: Choose something to offer to God, whether it is giving something up or doing something extra.
When you give something up or do something extra for God, you are going beyond yourself and this helps you take big steps on the path to holiness. Perhaps try both! In giving up something, it opens up time or emotional space for you to experience new things. You may find you have more time to spend with someone who needs to see Jesus through you, read the Bible, or make a visit to Eucharistic Adoration when you give up an hour of social media or games.
Whatever you choose to do, offer it up to God and He will strengthen you in persevering with this commitment during this Lenten Season.
